Nana's flip-flops and big girl panties

This has been Cailin's wardrobe for the last three days. We are working on potty training. She has been wearing big girl panties and is doing very good. I have been leaving her shorts off to make it easier for her to pull her panties down. Now she has been getting into my Mom's flip-flops. Mom has about 5 different pair and yesterday, Cailin wore all 5. She does pretty good keeping them on. I don't see how she walks in them with her toes curled like she does.Over the weekend, we were outside most of the time. To keep her from peeing in her panties, I would ask if she wanted to pee in the grass. Before the weekend was over, she was asking to go outside to pee in the grass. I had to explain this to the daycare this morning, so they would know what she was saying. It has been an interesting weekend. She is doing so good. And now only wants to wear big girl panties. Hopefully we will be diaper free very soon.

Who knew a 2 year old would like reading the paper!!

Back at the Zoo!

Over the holiday weekend, we went back to the house in NWA. All Cailin would talk about was going back to the zoo. So, we took her and had another wonderful time. What a great, cheap way to see a toddler have so much fun. She definitely got closer to the animals this time at the petting zoo, and wanted to feed everything bread.Cailin loves the goats. She is still asking if she can have a goat.

We didn't see the kangaroos last time. This was a first for us all.

Much closer to the turtles this time.

On Saturday, we went to visit some friends that were camping on the river. The river had risen to high to play in it, but there was a little creek that she was able to splash in.

Cailin and "her" Brady were walking back to the camp.
She had so much fun being back for a visit. She really didn't want to leave. She climbed on the bed with Matthew and said, "I love my house". The amount of showings has increased and we could only pray that something happens very quickly so we can get her settled into a new house of her own.
