I was able to snap this one just after Matthew had came home from work. Cailin and I had been cleaning up the Ike debris and she found the little stump that she is sitting on.
Cailin did her fair share of raking.
But, she would rather just ride.
Uncle Michael got baby chicks on Friday. She and I had helped put feed out on Wednesday. That consisted of she and I driving the Rhino so the guys could scoop faster. We went back on Friday. She walked in and said, "There are so many of them". And she is right. About 22,000 per house. She would pick one up and play with it for a minute. I guess they liked her pink shoes.
We are all doing good. Matthew has been in Louisville, KY for apprasial training and has to go back again. The leaves have started to fall and we know the change of seasons is here. Our house is very close to the woods and you can hear the deer walking behind the house.

This is our front yard. We were out of power for a few hours. There are still lots of people out around here. The crops took a beating. Some of the corn was laid on the ground. Matthew has been on the chain saw every evening till dark trying to cut up the limbs. Cailin and I have been loading what we can on the trailer behind the 4 wheeler, which she loves to ride. Her and Belle have learned there places on the 4 wheeler. Today, the front yard looks great! Back yard--not so great.
