The last few weeks have been fun and busy...

The last few weeks have been lots of fun, but boy have we been busy.

Cailin needed to wash her car while Matthew washed his

While I was getting ready, she found my lipstick!! Look how pretty!

I had some meetings in NWA on June 9th. Matthew and Cailin joined me on Thursday. While Matthew and Craig shot skeets Friday morning, Cathy and I took the girls to the Gentry drive through zoo. CAILIN HAD A BLAST!!! She is still talking about the zoo and how she needs to go back to see the Zebras, Camels, and Monkeys. We may be driving through again next time we are up. Cailin had so much fun being back at "Her house". She didn't want to leave and asked to go back the morning after we got back south.

Cathy let Cailin drive some while going through the zoo in Gentry

The girls feeding the fattest pig ever, more bread. The Zoo had a petting zoo that we walked through. There were lots of birds, goats, pigs, and even a snake. Cailin wanted to pet it, but I wouldn't let her, since I don't like snakes.

Cailin fed the baby goats bread.

This was as close as she would get to the turtle.
This past weekend was our first attempt at fishing. Good thing my dad packed a cooler, it was perfect for her to sit on. Leaving the bobbler sitting in the water was hard for her. She kept reeling it in.

We really are having a great time!!
Nothing was biting at this pond, so it was off to the next one.
They were biting here. I caught this one. Cailin got to pet it and help put it back in the water.Another one!! It got very hot and the fish quit biting, plus we were all sweating to death. Welcome to SUMMER in SW Arkansas!!!

Weekend fun in Kentucky

We spent the holiday weekend in Kentucky with Matthew's family. We all had a great time. Cailin was able to play with Jaden, who turns two next month. The two of them had a blast together. It wore us out just trying to keep up with them. We took her to see Uncle Michael's horse, Jesse, and the baby chickens. Those were the two things on her list of things to do. We went to Columbus-Belmont State Park. It sits right on the bluff of the Mississippi River. We were able to see the tug boats pushing barges up and down the river. It was great to see Cailin enjoying the new experiences this weekend. Traveling will tire a girl out, but when we got there, the fun began.

Still here...

We are still here. I know it has been a long time, but I just haven't taken the time to post anything. Most is still the same. Our house is still for sale. I had a meeting to attend last month and it was nice to stay in my own bed again. Cailin was sick part of last week. It never fails that when I go out of town for business, she gets sick. She's all better now. I am fighting a sinus infection. The honey suckle is blooming here and is reeking havoc on my nose. My Dad has bought Cailin a fishing pole and we are waiting for a nice weekend when everyone feels good to go fishing. Cailin is still enjoying school. She can count to 11, only skipping #5. She can say her ABC's only skipping a few letters. We have to sing every morning going to school. My Mom picks her up in the afternoons and they sing and count on the way home. She also knows her colors. The best thing has been when you ask her what my name is, "Crystal", what's Daddy's name, "Russell". She now knows that Daddy's name is Matthew Russell. It's all to cute. We are having a blast with her. She speaks in sentences and we have very little trouble understanding her. Once you mention something to her, it sticks. Like going to the zoo to ride the train and see the elephants. We will be doing this very soon. The other thing is going to see Uncle Michael's baby chickens. Good thing Uncle Michael will have baby chickens when we go for a visit over Memorial weekend. She is looking forward to playing with Jaden and so are we. She is a big talker now. My baby girl is now a big girl all the way around. When I took her to the doctor last week, she was 35 pounds. She is getting very tall. Well, I will do my best to post more often. But for now, here are the latest pics from the weekend.

I bought these flowers back early April and she and I planted them. She loves to water and smell the flowers.

What goes up!!!

Must come down.

She learned that if she took her shoes off, she could climb back up the slide.LOL!

It's a Monday

I haven't updated in a while and better let you know what was going on with us. We are all doing good. Cailin is taking a nap right now. The pollen is very heavy down here and she is badly affected by it. We have her on Zyrtec right now. I am always thankful for spring, but I hate the pollen. We had lots of rain last week. We drove up to the dam on Lake Greeson cause we heard that water was going over. As you can see, water was not going over, but it was nice to drive up. It's been 40 years since water ever went over the dam.

My dad had a spell on Saturday and fainted in the corral working calves with Matthew. Matthew rushed him to the ER. Nothing was found and they sent him home with a heart monitor to wear for 24 hours. He is going to the doctor today in hopes of getting a referral to the Heart Clinic. He has not been feeling well lately and we need to get him better soon. The doctor at the ER felt the Heart Clinic was the next step, but would not refer. Mom is going with him and she is a nurse. At least she knows all the medical jargon. Matthew is going to KY this weekend to work on his deer plot. Belle is going to the vet on Thursday to get spade. She is four now and we know we don't want any puppies and I don't want her to come into heat while we are living with my parents. So Cailin, Belle, and I will stay here this weekend. We still have not sold the house in Siloam Springs. The Realtor held an open house on Sunday, and had three people stop in. Does not sound very promising on that one. She is still very hopeful that something will happen soon. We still have not found anything here either. If our house sells, I'm sure we could find something, just not any real motivation right now. Please keep us in your daily prayers that the house sells, we find a house, and we find out what is wrong with Daddy and get him well quickly.
